Quick help
X mode and Z mode are used to gather readings from your POS regarding your total figures and sales.
Both modes can be accessed by pressing the home mode button then pressing the end of day button on the home mode screen.
The main differences between the two modes are that the X mode reading can be performed multiple times throughout the day without affect your totals.
A Z mode reading, once performed, will reset your totals for that day. So this mode reading should only be used at the end of the day. Using this mode will prompt if you would like reset your totals before doing so for peace of mind.
The most common reason for a printer not being found when trying to print a receipt or ticket is that the connection has come loose.
To remedy this, check all connections in the back of your POS system and re-plug them if you’re unsure, this also includes any cable that is connecting your POS to a network such as a switch box, as your POS might be using another terminal to communicate to the printer.

To change your POS’s system time.
First, navigate to home mode. Select the programming button from the menu and you will then be prompted for a clerk number. This should have been provided with the installation of your till but by default, the training mode can be accessed with the clerk number 123, which will be enough to enter programming.
From here, select program 1: Prices & stock. Then, select option 6: Select system date & time.
You are then presented with two entry fields, the first is for changing the time and the second is for changing the date.
Selecting these fields will show the required format that the time and date need to be entered.
Enter the new time and date and press the cross button in the bottom right of the screen to set the changes.
You can then check your changes have taken effect with the time display in the bottom right corner of the screen.
To change the behaviour of how receipts print, first navigate to home mode, then select manager functions. you will need to be set up with manager privileges to access this menu.
On this screen you will then see a button displaying receipt on/off. Pressing this button will toggle the tills ability to print receipts after each sale has been completed.
The way to indicate which state your receipt printer is currently set to is to check for an icon of a receipt printer in the bottom right corner of screen. If the icon is visible, this means that receipts are set to print after each sale.
If the icon is not visible, that means that receipts are not set to print after each sale.
